The Three Hands of Hope began to work with Danielle’s family through an association with youth sports.   Once we heard of Dee’s diagnosis we wanted to do something for the family and for Dee. We quickly organized the Danielle Delarso Community Day to raise money for family.

This has now become an annual event and we will hold our 10th Annual Community day in August of this year.   This event continues to support local families with a Child battling a serious illness or challenge.  To date this event has raised over $80,000 that has been returned to local families. We also partnered with another organization to create “DEEZ RUN” to fund Scholarships in Danielle’s name for students at the Pequea Valley High School where she attended.

DEEZ RUN was a 5K run/walk that eventually morphed into an annual golf outing which continues to provide the Scholarship funding at Pequea Valley High School.

As of the 2019 graduating class we have recognized 25 students and awarded over $30,000 in Scholarship money.

When your child is diagnosed with a serious illness or a terminal illness, a parent’s worst fear becomes your reality, your fight, your mission!

Even with the best insurance and support a family can be financially burdened with extra expenses for care and comfort. Three Hands Of Hope was one of the greatest Blessings to our family during our Daughter’s illness.

We were truly overwhelmed by the generosity and continued support of Three Hands of Hope. To know they were there helping us in the fight meant the world to us.    We will be forever grateful.

Thank you again for your support!
